Start a buzz for ‘God and Guinness’
Today is the 250th anniversary of Guinness! In honor of the occasion, help us spread the word about Stephen Mansfield’s newest book, The Search for God and Guinness.
What’s The Story?

The Search for God and Guinness is about beer, business, and one of the world’s most popular and enduring brands. But it’s also about:
- living your faith in the real world
- innovating for your people as much as your product
- investing in your community and the world around you
- all the good that wealth can do when used to the glory of God
As we struggle through the results of corporate greed and political corruption, the Guinness story shines as an example of how people can build and create and prosper while helping others.
How to Get a Free Advance Copy
The Search for God and Guinness goes on sale next month, but you can get a free copy right now in one of two ways: If you live in the Nashville, TN, area, this one’s for you. Today from 5-7 p.m., I’ll be at McCreary’s in downtown Franklin with a free book for everyone who buys a pint (until I run out of copies). If you’re not in the area, no worries. You can score a free copy at Nelson’s Book Review Bloggers site.
This one isn’t free, but it will help the cause. Preorder the book on Amazon and help us go out the gate on release week with a bang.
Start a Buzz
If you like the message of the book, help us get the word out about it. Please tell your friends and family about it—Twitter, Facebook, email, blog, church coffee hour or, best of all, over a pint. Email Kristi Henson to book a speech or radio, TV, web, or print interview with Stephen Mansfield. You can also email me directly with your ideas about spreading the word.

This sounds so interesting! Sheila Mullican twittered about it on FB. I love Guiness, but it’s a guilty pleasure for me, so it’ll be very interesting to read about God’s involvement in it, etc. Your blog also looks very interesting. Oh, for more hours in my day to just explore places like this. I’ll be back! Greetings from the Midwest, Gloris
Time is tricky business. Wish I had three or four more hours every day. Alas. But Guinness! It’s not so tricky, just fascinating. The back story here is really eyeopening. Hope you enjoy it!
So let me get this straight…in order to get a ‘buzz’ going about a book, you’re offering it free with a beer?
You’ve got me laughing (and I retweeted it)
Concern that people will remember the book after the buzz is gone.
Chirp. Chirp. (crickets chirping at lame joke).
Great idea Stephen.
